Terms of Service

Last updated: July 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Texas Stable Dollar bridge (the "Bridge"), which lets you lock supported stablecoins — USDC, USDT, PYUSD or DAI on Ethereum, Base or BNB Smart Chain — and mint a 1:1-backed token, TSD, on the TEXITcoin Omni Layer 2, then redeem in reverse. By using the Bridge you agree to these terms, to the Risk Disclaimers, and to the Privacy Policy, which are incorporated here by reference.

1. What TSD is — and is not

TSD is a bridge wrapper: a transferable claim on stablecoins held in reserve by the operators. TSD pays no interest, yield, dividend, or reward of any kind and confers no ownership, equity, voting, profit-sharing, or governance rights. It is not a security, not a bank deposit, not insured, not electronic money, and not legal tender. "Texas" in the name is cultural, not governmental — no government endorses, sponsors, or backs the Bridge.

We do not issue the underlying stablecoins and are not affiliated with Circle, Tether, Paxos, PayPal, or Sky. See Compliance & KYC for how responsibility is divided.

2. Your wallets, your keys, your responsibility

You are solely responsible for your wallets, private keys, seed phrases, and the accuracy of every address you provide. Transactions on public blockchains are irreversible. We cannot reverse, recall, or recover funds sent to a wrong, unsupported, or attacker-controlled address, nor unsupported tokens or supported tokens sent on unsupported chains.

Copy deposit addresses only from the Bridge interface. Addresses appearing in your wallet history may have been planted by address-poisoning attackers.

3. Minting, redemption, and amounts

  • Minting occurs only after your deposit reaches the required confirmations on its source chain. Redemption burns TSD before reserves are released.
  • The Bridge mints and pays out what actually arrives, not the amount you quoted. Overpayments and underpayments are processed at the received amount.
  • Individual incoming transfers below a published dust minimum are ignored and are not credited or refundable.
  • Quotes and rates shown in the interface are indicative and may change before your deposit confirms. Deposit addresses may expire; deposits arriving after expiry may require manual operator handling.

4. Fees

Current fees and minimum/maximum order sizes are displayed in the interface before you commit and published via our public API. Fees may be changed at any time for future orders; the fee applicable to an order is the one disclosed when that order is created. Coupon codes, where offered, are discretionary, may be limited or expire, and may be withdrawn at any time. Network gas costs are separate and are not set by us.

5. Redemption liquidity

We maintain a hot-wallet buffer to serve typical redemptions promptly, and publish live capacity on the status page. Redemptions exceeding available hot capacity are queued until an operator moves reserves from cold storage. Published capacity and time estimates are informational only. We do not guarantee any redemption timeframe.

6. Reserves and attestations

Each TSD is intended to be backed 1:1 by supported stablecoins held at addresses the operators control. We publish continuous, cryptographically signed reserve attestations on the proof of reserves page and via the API. These are self-published and independently verifiable on-chain, but they are not an independent audit or a certification by any accountant or regulator. Reserves may be held in yield-bearing instruments for treasury purposes; any such yield accrues to the operators to fund operations and TSD holders acquire no claim on it.

7. Eligibility, jurisdiction, and prohibited use

You must be of legal age and legally permitted to use the Bridge where you are. You may not use the Bridge if you are a sanctioned person, act for one, or are located in a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction. We screen requests by country at the network edge and refuse blocked jurisdictions. This is a soft control and evading it — by VPN, proxy, or otherwise — is a breach of these terms and does not make your use lawful.

You further agree not to:

  • use the Bridge to launder proceeds of crime, evade sanctions, or finance terrorism;
  • attack, overload, scrape abusively, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Bridge or its infrastructure;
  • misrepresent the Bridge, TSD, or its backing, or present TSD as a yield-bearing or investment product;
  • attempt to exploit quoting, coupon, or settlement logic for unintended gain.

8. Managed token powers

TSD is an Omni managed token. The issuer retains the technical ability to grant and revoke tokens. We will use revocation only where legally required or to correct tokens created in error, and such actions are recorded in our internal audit log.

9. Suspension and wind-down

We may pause minting, redemption, or the Bridge entirely, at any time and without notice, for security, legal, or operational reasons. If the Bridge is wound down, our intention is to enable redemption of outstanding TSD against remaining reserves, but we cannot guarantee any particular outcome or timeline.

10. No warranty

The Bridge is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators and their contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of digital assets, arising from or related to your use of the Bridge — even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited in aggregate to the fees you paid to us on the order giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the Bridge.

13. Support and order recovery

We operate a support desk on a best-efforts basis and will attempt to assist with stuck or misrouted orders where technically possible. This is a courtesy, not an entitlement, and does not create an obligation to recover funds.

14. Changes

We may update these terms as the Bridge evolves. Material changes take effect when posted here with a new "last updated" date, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

15. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
